  1. Member: This is the entry-level status, which is free to join. Members earn 5 base points for every eligible dollar spent on qualifying stays, dining, and spa experiences at Hyatt properties. Some benefits of Member status include free standard internet access at participating hotels, exclusive Member Rate discounts, and the ability to earn points for free nights.
  2. Discoverist: To achieve Discoverist status, you can either stay 10 qualifying nights, earn 25,000 base points, host three qualifying meetings or events, or hold the World of Hyatt Credit Card. Discoverist members receive all the benefits of Member status, plus additional perks such as premium internet, a dedicated check-in line, and late checkout (upon request, and when available) until 2 p.m.
  3. Explorist: To reach Explorist status, you need to stay 30 qualifying nights, earn 50,000 base points, or host 10 qualifying meetings or events. Explorist members enjoy all the benefits of Discoverist status, as well as an upgrade to the best room available at check-in (excluding suites), when available, and four Club lounge passes on eligible rates or when redeeming points for free night awards.
  4. Globalist: Globalist status is the highest tier in the World of Hyatt loyalty program. Achieving Globalist status requires 60 qualifying nights, earning 100,000 base points, or hosting 20 qualifying meetings or events. Globalist members receive all the benefits of Explorist status, plus several premium perks such as an upgrade to the best available room at check-in (including standard suites), late checkout (upon request, and when available) until 4 p.m., guaranteed room availability 48 hours ahead of the stay, access to the hotel club lounge with every stay, complimentary parking at participating hotels and resorts, and priority access to available rooms when checking in early.
  5. Lifetime Globalist: Lifetime Globalist status is a special designation granted to members who have earned 1 million base World of Hyatt points over their lifetime. Lifetime Globalist members enjoy all the benefits of Globalist status, including one free night award up to Category 7 and four suite upgrade awards every March.
